With your hostTami Simon

Join us for a full-day virtual retreat with some of our most beloved meditation teachers and, by doing so, help us create the next generation of mindfulness teachers.

We’re bringing together an entire community of teachers and fellow seekers from around the world in a full day of meditations, teachings, live Q&As, and so much more.

We hope you will join us for the very special event, exclusively offered by the Sounds True Foundation in partnership with The Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program

HOW DO I HELP CREATE FUTURE MINDFULNESS TEACHERS?

By attending this full-day event and offering the suggested donation of just $75, you help fund scholarships that serve people with financial need for The Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program, the world’s leading training program for developing a new generation of mindfulness teachers.

Past graduates—including Reggie Hubbard and Lily Pan, speakers at the day’s event—have gone on to serve their communities in a multitude of deeply meaningful ways with the skills and practices they learn during this two-year intensive training in partnership with the Greater Good Science Center.

The Sounds True Foundation, along with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach, is committed to creating access to this intensive training program, so that people with financial need can bring these practices to diverse demographics, underserved communities, and people who would otherwise not have easy access to mindfulness and compassion training.

We invite people who are inspired to become mindfulness teachers to bring these life-transforming practices to every corner of the world.

Together, we can empower a new generation of diverse and inclusive mindfulness teachers.

If you’re unable to join us live but would like to support the Mindful Champions scholarship fund, please make a donation.

Your contribution helps make transformational education available to those who are ready to wake up the world!

WHAT MINDFUL CHAMPIONS ARE SAYING

“I believe that mindfulness and compassion are a means toward leaning in and opening versus ignoring or avoiding the suffering we face both on an internal and external basis. I see this program as a portal for greater compassion for self as well as others in a world where there is so much pain, anger, mistrust, and suffering. Through my life experiences, I want to show others how mindfulness and compassion can move us toward becoming more present, more caring, more forgiving, and more loving human beings—characteristics so desperately needed now more than ever.”
—Lisa
“It has been a great gift. The whole program has been an incredible resource during the pandemic. It has allowed me to be in a place of gratitude for the opportunity of being a part of this program and the opportunity to share this knowledge in my community. Without the full scholarship, I would not have been able to enroll, because I was not having any earnings and also due to the peso/dollar exchange rate. I honestly can say that it impacts every aspect of my life. I feel so much gratitude for all the people that made it possible that I could be here, in this amazing program, with the best teachers and the best staff anyone could wish for.”
—Dolores
“I would not have been able to attend the program without the full scholarship. I have deepened my learning process and have been reaching deeper levels of understanding.… I find myself navigating this troubled world with more ease, less reactive to challenging situations, finding more space to hold the sorrows and pains, and learning to savor moments of pleasure, of good fortune, practicing gratefulness for being in the here and now.”
